SADHANA: A PROVEN TIME TESTED FRAMEWORK FOR SELF-HEALING AND TRANSFORMATION

  1. What is a Sadhana?
    A specific spiritual practice (in this case yoga) that you do every day for 40-days straight (no days missed)

  2. Why 40-Days?
    In modern neuroscience and ancient traditions around the world, 40-days holds mass significance. According to Yoga Darshana if you introduce anything new into the system, it takes approximately 40-days to integrate and become a part of the greater whole. This is due to human physiology going through specific cycles every 40-48 days, considered the natural duration for many physiological processes in the human body.

  3. What Are the Benefits?
    To purify and strengthen the body, break old mental habits, transform erratic or dense energies (emotions), develop will-power and healthful self-discipline, increase concentration and to fortify the connection with nature, intuition and spirituality.

  • Lunar

    Lunar practices are deep, challenging and nourishing, focusing on creating stability and calmness of mind through longer holds and specific breath ratios.

  • Solar

    Solar practices are the science of energy management. This pathway is about cultivating the power and sensitivity we need to evolve and awaken to the subtle planes of reality

  • Fire

    These are full spectrum Tantric practices to still the mind, cultivate energy, burn through limitations and skillfully call forth our dormant spiritual power to live a fully authentic and aligned life.

  • Nidra

    Designed to draw the senses inward for an exploration of the state between consciousness and sleep. Traditionally, it incorporates connection to a goal or desire, body scans, breath awareness, and observation of the self.

Hatha with Bri is unlike any yoga I have experienced. It’s slower paced and focuses on specific breathing and a much smaller number of poses. It it is beginner friendly and excellent for people like me who have injuries or limitations. I have avoided yoga for many years because I was afraid that I wouldn't fit in with the typical yoga class or that I wouldn't be able to find an alternate move but having finally taken the plunge, I have gained strength, flexibility and an inner peace that I did not think existed. I am able to centre myself and calm my mind which has given me the ability to take immense strides in my personal life, all thanks to this practice. I love this style of yoga and I am so thankful for Bri offering it. If you have ever considered yoga but were too nervous to try, this is an excellent way to learn.
